This time, it’s the Spirit-with-the-Hatchet the storyteller of five episodes from his past, with an exceptional listener: James Fenimore Cooper, the author of “The Last of the Mohicans”! Zagor and Fenimore Cooper are forced to spend a sleepless night on a train stuck in the snow, on the verge of a collapsed bridge. Meanwhile, they can spot the threatening shadows of the people who tried to make the train fall, to no avail, thanks to the intervention of our hero. While the stories told by the Spirit-with-the-Hatchet continue, attacks by the mysterious enemies go on, along with Zagor’s investigation about the identity and motives of their attackers.
