La pattuglia

After rescuing Bill and Brenda, Pat starts roaming again. He reaches Fort Bridger, where, besides an old friend of his, he finds the military that protects trading posts against Indian raids. Cheyennes, Comanches, and Kiowas are trying to defend their lands, and the buffaloes killed haphazardly by the White hunters. Getting along with the soldiers is hard for Pat, and he gets in trouble. Charged with murder, the young man runs into the desert where he, along with the patrol chasing him, falls into the clutches of the Comanches.
